Last Sunday, Easton was baptized at All Souls Catholic Church in South San Francisco. We were very fortunate to have our close family and friends in attendance to support Easton.

Easton’s grandparents (and great grandmother).

Easton surrounded by Godparents we carefully chose to help guide him
on the meaningful and purposeful path through life (and occasionally babysit him).
From right to left: Lara, Ed, Maria, Bea, Godsister Jorja and Joel. (Jason not present)

The village (community of friends and family) supporting Easton.

Father showering Easton with holy water while Godfather Ed keeps his distance making sure his suit doesn’t get wet.

Easton staring at Godmother Lara’s guiding light.
Afterward the baptism, we had a wonderful reception at our home (largely coordinated by Claire who did a great job) with a wonderful selection of Vietnamese and Pilipino foods.

The calm before the guests.

Here they come…

LJ is security guard today. You better be on the guestlist.

While everyone mingles, my Grandma goes straight for the good food.
